Linden
Delicate flowers whose aroma soothes the soul,
tiny seeds on a wing, fluttering down
inner bark strong enough to make rope,
leaves shaped like a heart.
Wonderfully soothing,
confidence boosting,
always makes me smile.

Linden are not the easiest trees to grow. Seeds apparently have a low germination rate, and if you want to graft a shoot onto root stock, it can be done but it takes knowledge and time. If you wish to try, google it, it's not something I want to go in to here. There are various reliable websites that will show you how.

I just enjoy sitting under them in the heat of the summer sun..... and drinking Linden tea now and then.
